The Black Doctoral Network is leading the next generation of Black scholars to reach new heights. Encouraging intellectual curiosity and transformative research, the Black Doctoral Network is a bridge leader, creating paths between scholars, disciplines, and academic universities all while its serves as an invaluable connection between higher education and the community at large.
Conference Information:
BDN2019 brings together both world renowned and emergent scholars and professionals from the social sciences, STEM and humanities to function as a resource, a support system, as a space of intellectual exchange, and a place to create connections and develop collaborations.
BDN Social:
The BDN Social this year is something you do not want to miss! This year's social will feature a DINNER BUFFET & OPEN BAR! Open Bar guests must be 21 years or older. Other guests will have access to soft drinks and water. Cost is $25 per person.

Refund Policy:
Registration fees are refundable up until August 31, 2019. No refunds will be granted starting September 1, 2019.
Hotel Accommodations:
The Black Doctoral Network Inc. has negotiated a sleeping room rate of $139/night (doubles & singles) for all Annual Conference guests at the DoubleTree by Hilton Newark Airport Hotel for Thursday, Friday and surrounding nights. To receive the discounted rate of $139, you must tell the hotel that you are part of the Black Doctoral Network Conference and provide the group code: DNC.
RESERVATION DEADLINE: OCTOBER 16, 2019
Packages & Deliveries:
All packages may be sent to the DoubleTree by Hilton Newark Airport at 128 Frontage Road, Newark, NJ 07114. Packages are welcome to arrive starting Monday, October 21, however, we request that packages do not set arrive earlier as a holding fee may be charged by the hotel.
